Can you say Chicago Illinois? That is were I got my appreciation of architecture. As a boy I lived in the town of the Glass House, in Downers Grove Illinois. My mother was an interior designer in Chicago. My father, and Grandfather where both in the furniture business my whole childhood. I was living and breathing design. I remember as a kid getting to take off school to go to the famous Merchandise Mart in downtown Chicago with my mother. As a boy I would construct furniture, and study woodworking. In high school I studied architecture.

I have also built homes, as assistant to carpenters, and various other construction people. As a photographic assistant I worked for two of the best Architectural Photographers in the world Al Payne in Phoenix, and Hedrick Blessing in Chicago.

In the mid 1980’s Phoenix was a Gold Town for Architectural Photography. That is why I came to Phoenix Arizona. As an Arizona Architectural Photographer I have enjoyed every moment of it. My first big clients where Associates In Architecture And Design. They would fly me around the nation photographing restaurants, and airport stores. My next biggest client was Don Carstens Design, fate would have Don move in next door to me in the early 1980’s, we would go on to photograph famous restaurants like Mastro’s.

Through my almost 30 year architectural photographer career I have photographed homes for many of the biggest home builders in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Like Del Web, KB Homes, Trend Homes, Homes By Dave Brown, Maracay Homes. Also I have done an incredible amount of pool photography, My first big client was Paddock Pools, Blue Wave, Hawaiian Pools. I have also photographed a lot of architecture as an Arizona Editorial Architectural Photographer for magazines like Phoenix Home and Garden, Phoenix Magazine, Arizona Foothills Magazine.
